The School Improvement Plan is updated every year to manage continuous improvement at the Nixon School. This year's plan is now available!

2007-2008 SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

The School Advisory Council consists of the school principal, 3 teachers, 3 parent representatives and the PTO Liasons. The goal of SAC is to revise the annual School Improvement Plan (SIP), a tool designed to manage the continuous improvement process at both the Nixon School and District levels. There are 3 central themes of education:

Our role as parents on the Council is to make recommendations for the SIP Plan and also to solicit input form the Nixon parent community. This portion of the PTO Website is one communication mechanism we use to help solicit that input.
