Nixon’s collection for the food pantry is…

TOMORROW!!  FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19!!

If your child has not already done so,

please have them bring in two items.

While each grade has been assigned a category to give from, this is merely a suggestion.   All donations are welcome and needed, even if you cannot give from your assigned category.  Special requests given to us by the Sudbury Food Pantry for September are listed parenthetically.

5th Grade:            Canned Vegetables (corn, green beans, tomatoes)

                                     Soups (tomato & chicken)
4th Grade:            Whole Grains (pasta, cereal)
3rd Grade:             Proteins (tuna, beans –baked, with pork, pinto)
2nd Grade:            Canned Fruits (pears & peaches) & Pasta Sauce
1st Grade:             Fats (cake & brownie mixes, frosting, grape jelly)
Kindergarten:        Baby products (cereal & wipes), Jell-O

In addition, the food pantry needs brown paper bags.  Please send in as many as you can spare.

Calendar Note:  next month’s food pantry collection date has been moved to Friday, October 17.
