Goodnow Library Summer Programs

 

Goodnow Library in Sudbury invites children and their families to participate in activities planned for the summer. "Wild Reads at Your Library” is the theme for the summer which begins officially on June 30th when decorations will transform the children's room. Activities will include an afternoon craft program, Truck Day with town vehicles, reading folders, family concerts, events featuring birds of prey and exotic animals, the popular guessing jar, an evening Book Discussion program for children entering 4th through 6th grades, as well as the year round programs for preschool children. Registration or tickets may be required for certain programs. The Kids' Book Discussion program will include a series of five meetings and a variety of literary genres. The final meeting will include a movie screening, pizza dinner and book discussion.  Children may sign up for 1, 2 or 3 meetings. Sign-ups for all five meetings will begin on Wed. June 4th when the complete schedule with titles plus copies of the books will be available for check-out.
