Electronic devices belong at home!

Just a reminder that our parent handbook states that students may not bring phones or electronic games or devices to school.  In recent weeks we have had students receiving phone calls at school and conflicts due to GameBoys at recess (not to mention that children aren't getting active play).  

Please note that if any of these devices are spotted out during the school day, they will be brought to the principal's office for parent pick-up.

We recognize that some Boston families may wish their children to have cell phones for possible use on the bus in case of emergency, and electronic games for the long ride, however these must be kept off and put away during the school day.  Likewise, if SED allows electronic games, these must not be out during the day or during recess. 

Please help us keep our school day focused on learning and the recess period focused on active social play.
