If your child has a negative balance in cafeteria…..

Elementary:

  1. A student’s account is allowed a negative balance of no more than –$10.00 (4 meal charges).

  2. If a student’s account exceeds –$10.00, the student receives an alternative lunch, not the regular lunch listed on the menu. The alternative lunch consists of a cheese sandwich and milk, or an alternative based on dietary needs.

  3. The student may not purchase the regular lunch until the negative balance is paid in full.

  4. If a student’s account has a negative balance of any amount, the student may not buy snacks.

  5. In general, except for water or milk, a student may never charge snacks.

  6. In general, there is a limit of 2 snacks per day per student.

Middle School:
